Malayalam actor Dileep Shankar, aged 54, was found dead in a Thiruvananthapuram hotel room on December 29, 2024. The actor, known for his roles in films like Chaappa Kurish and North 24 Kaatham and the TV serial Ammayariyathe, had checked in for a serial shooting project. Hotel staff discovered his body after noticing a foul smell. The cause of death is under investigation.
